JavaScript Classes for Kids & Teens in Schaumburg, IL

JavaScript is what makes a website do something when you click. Students learn to build interactive web pages from scratch — with a live instructor, in a small class — and finish with a working site they can show their family and friends.

Who This Class Is For

• Ages 12–15 ready to build things other people can visit

• Ages 14–18 interested in web development or design

• Beginners — we teach the HTML and CSS they need along the way

What Your Child Will Learn

• How HTML, CSS and JavaScript work together to make a page

• Responding to clicks, typing, and other things a visitor does

• Changing what a page shows without reloading it

• Working with forms, validation and user input

• Fetching and displaying live data

• Finding and fixing bugs using the browser’s own tools

What They’ll Build

• An interactive page with buttons, menus and animation

• A working form that checks what the visitor typed

• A small browser game or quiz

• A personal site that pulls in live data

• A finished project published so family can visit it

How the Class Runs

24 lessons across roughly 24 instructional hours — about 3 hours a week over two months. Each session mixes a short concept explanation, a guided hands-on lab and project work, with weekly quizzes and homework shared through Google Classroom. Call (847) 350-9034 for current tuition.

Neither is a recorded course. We serve families across Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Roselle, Arlington Heights, Carol Stream, Elk Grove Village and Streamwood.

Why Our Classes Stay Small

Classes are typically 8 to 12 students. That is small enough for your child to ask a question the moment they are stuck, and for the instructor to notice when they are quietly lost. It is the single biggest difference between a class that works and a video course that does not.
