Computer Skills & Coding Classes for Kids in Schaumburg, IL

The starting point for younger students, and for any child who is curious about computers but has never written code. Students learn how technology actually works, then write their first real programs — in a small class, with a live instructor.

• How computers, files, folders and the internet actually work

• Typing, productivity tools and organizing work properly

• Staying safe online — privacy, passwords and what not to share

• Coding logic: sequences, decisions, loops and patterns

• Breaking a big problem into small, solvable steps

• Writing and running their first real programs

• A simple animated story or game they design themselves

• A small program that solves a problem they picked

• A well-organized digital project with real files and folders

• A first robotics activity to see code control something physical

How the Class Runs

24 lessons across roughly 24 instructional hours — about 3 hours a week over two months. Each session mixes a short concept explanation, a guided hands-on lab and project work, with weekly quizzes and homework shared through Google Classroom. Call (847) 350-9034 for current tuition.

Neither is a recorded course. We serve families across Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates, Palatine, Roselle, Arlington Heights, Carol Stream, Elk Grove Village and Streamwood.

Why Our Classes Stay Small

Classes are typically 8 to 12 students. That is small enough for your child to ask a question the moment they are stuck, and for the instructor to notice when they are quietly lost. It is the single biggest difference between a class that works and a video course that does not.

Where This Leads

This is the entry ramp. From here students move into Python, robotics or game development, and later into Java, artificial intelligence and data analysis.
